Clippable Labs Inc wants Scanning Cards to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards only, zoom, or reduced motion.
What we aim for
We design toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That includes:
- A “Skip to main content” link on every page.
- Pages marked with a language, headings, and landmarks.
- Visible keyboard focus and pinch-to-zoom enabled.
- Text alternatives on meaningful controls; decorative images hidden from assistive tech.
- Color contrast that meets AA for body text and primary actions.
- Motion that respects
prefers-reduced-motion. - A photo-upload path so you are not required to use a live camera.
Known limits
The live camera scanners and 3D slab viewer are visual tools. We provide file upload and text cert lookup as alternatives, but some views will not be fully equivalent for a screen-reader user. We are improving those flows and welcome specific reports.
How to get help or report a barrier
